Self Check-in

Bouldering

Bouldering is a thrilling and accessible form of rock climbing that doesn't require ropes or harnesses. Climbers scale short walls (known as boulders) that are equipped with a variety of holds, challenging themselves to solve routes and conquer gravity.

To start, identify the start and end tags of the climbing route. Place your hands on the holds with the starting tags, left hand (L) and right (R) hand. Your feet should be standing on holds of the same colour or volume as the route you are attempting. Be stable before moving off!

You are only allowed to touch holds of the same colour, walls or volumes to reach the top of the route, denoted by Rocky-dono! Touch both hands on the last hold in a controlled manner. Congratulations! You have now sent your very first route!

Climb down safely using any hold. If you need to jump, make sure you land with bent knees and with your hands hugging yourself!
